Kleine Pit (''Little Seed''), started as a final exam project for Marit's study Comic Design at the ArtEZ University of the Arts Zwolle. It finished as a completed story with 56 pages.
Kleine Pit is a coming-of-age story, in which a young girl named Lizbell, takes a journey through a mysterious world. She is not taken seriously by her peers, so her mother suggests that she's going to get some apples as a distraction. When she crashes into a wall in an alley, she suddenly finds herself in another world. Here she encounters all sorts of misadventures, struggling to keep her emotions in check. Will she manage to get out of the adventure?
